Cleaning the exterior: wipe with a damp cloth for light marks. For the printed surface, avoid scrubbing or abrasive cleaners which can lift the print. Professional dry cleaning is the safest option for stubborn stains. Worth the £8 to £10 to protect a £130 boot.

The flannel insole will compress slightly with wear. This is normal. The flannel moulds to your foot shape over time, which actually improves fit. If the insole flattens significantly after months of use, replacing it with a similar soft insole restores the original comfort.

Storage: keep upright with boot shapers or rolled magazine pages inside the shaft to maintain its shape. The superfine fibre lining can collect dust if stored loose. A fabric dust bag or pillowcase over each boot between wears keeps the interior clean.
